Our Orléans Centrum centre at 210 Centrum Boulevard is in the heart of Ottawa's east end, serving Orléans, Blackburn Hamlet, and Cumberland. Centrally located among the shops and services along Centrum Boulevard, it's an easy stop for east-end residents needing routine bloodwork, and it also offers walk-in ECGs. Walk in with your requisition and health card — most tests need no appointment — and park for free on site.
Centrum is Bio-Test Laboratory's patient service centre for Orléans, Fallingbrook, Chapel Hill, Convent Glen and Queenswood Heights. Walk in Monday to Friday 7:30 am–4:00 pm with your Ontario health card and a requisition from your physician, nurse practitioner or midwife: no appointment is needed for blood work, and the typical wait is under 15 minutes. Tests ordered on a requisition are covered by OHIP. If your requisition says to fast, come first thing in the morning with water only. Samples go to Bio-Test's accredited laboratory the same day, results reach your provider within 24 to 48 hours, and you can see them in the patient portal. This centre also offers walk-in ECG.
