About our Cornwall lab

Our Cornwall location at 841 Sydney Street, Unit 6, is coming soon. It will be Bio-Test's easternmost centre, serving Cornwall and the surrounding Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry counties, and giving residents of far Eastern Ontario local access to the same laboratory services offered across our Ottawa network. Once open, you will be able to walk in with your health card and requisition — most tests require no appointment — with free on-site parking. Until then, Embrun is the nearest Bio-Test centre.

Walk-in blood tests in Cornwall: Bio-Test Laboratory is coming soon

Bio-Test Laboratory is opening a new patient service centre in Cornwall to serve Cornwall, Long Sault, Ingleside, Alexandria and Lancaster. Like every Bio-Test Laboratory centre it will offer OHIP-covered, walk-in blood and specimen collection with no appointment needed for most tests, results to your provider within 24 to 48 hours, and service in English and French. The centre is not open yet. In the meantime, the nearest open Bio-Test Laboratory centres are Embrun and Carleton Place, and any of our centres accepts a requisition from any Ontario provider.

Until the Cornwall centre opens, use Bio-Test Laboratory's Embrun and Carleton Place centres: walk in Monday to Friday with your Ontario and a , no appointment needed, and the typical wait is under 15 minutes.

No. Like all Bio-Test Laboratory centres, blood and specimen collection will be walk-in, first come first served. Online booking for a set time will be added when the centre opens.

Yes. Tests ordered by an Ontario physician, nurse practitioner or midwife on a are covered with a valid at any Bio-Test centre. A few tests, such as vitamin D for most adults, are uninsured in Ontario and carry a fee wherever you go.

Yes. Any Bio-Test centre accepts a from any Ontario provider, and your results go back to the provider who ordered them regardless of which centre you visit.

The new centre will open with blood and specimen collection. Walk-in is at Bells Corners and Smyth, and at Bells Corners, Smyth, Parkdale and Orléans Centrum.

Anyone can use any Bio-Test centre, but the Cornwall location will be the closest for patients in Cornwall, Long Sault, Ingleside, Alexandria and Lancaster. See all centres on the Locations page.
